Terms of Service

The service

Vibabel lets you translate videos into other languages with a synthesized voiceover and subtitles, and ask questions about videos you have processed. Features may change, and we may add or remove functionality over time.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Content and rights

You retain ownership of the videos you submit and the media we generate from them. You must only submit content you have the right to use — for example, your own recordings, work in the public domain, or content you are licensed to translate and republish.

By submitting content, you grant Vibabel a limited license to store, process, and transform it solely to provide the service to you — including sending it to the AI service providers described in our Privacy Policy. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in routine backups that are cleared on a rolling basis.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Vibabel to:

• Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
• Create deceptive media intended to impersonate a real person or mislead others about who is speaking, including non-consensual voice cloning.
• Process content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, or sexually exploitative.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the security, quotas, or access controls of the service.
• Resell or redistribute the service without our permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that create risk for Vibabel or other users.

Quotas and availability

Usage may be subject to quotas, and the service is provided on an as-available basis. We may impose limits, throttle, or pause processing to keep the service running for everyone.

Disclaimers

Vibabel is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Automated translation, transcription, voice synthesis, and video chat can be inaccurate or incomplete; do not rely on outputs for high-stakes decisions without independent review. You are responsible for how you use the media you generate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vibabel and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
